this set is a great set to either get any time or a starter set. you get 23 pieces that include a solid spoon, solid turner, ladle, whisk, potato press or masher, pizza cutter, bottle opener, peeler, can opener, silicone spatula, grater, tongs, measuring cups, and measuring spoons. each measuring cup and measuring spoon counts as one item, the measuring cups are 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/4 cup, and 1/8 cup. the measuring spoons are 1 tablespoon, 1/2 tbs, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 tsp, 1/4 tsp, and 1/8 tsp. the utensils are nylon so even though they have a stainless steel like handle, they are not heavy. the measuring cups and spoons are made from a light plastic. the whisk black part is made from nylon, the pizza cutter is a little small for me, and the grater handle is made from the same plastic the measuring cups are made from. the tongs are probably my favorite of the set, they are super long around 14 inches where my others are about 11 inches. they all have holes in the handles so if you want to hang them you can. the can opener can not go in the dishwasher, but everything else can. overall i'm happy with the set, and think it's worth it, so you have at least one of everything, you might need for everyday cooking.

I have been on my own for years. Most of my kitchen tools were hand me downs, some I bought, but all very used and needing replaced. This set replaces it all and then some for a good value. These utensils are all very simple and classy looking. They would fit in with any kitchen decor. Plus they are pretty well made. They aren't flimsy and it comes with everything you'll need for the basics. The set includes a can opener, pizza cutter, bottle opener, ladle, spatula, tongs, hand held shredder with different sizes for different uses, a whisk, a peeler, and more. 23 pieces including measuring cups and spoons. This would be a perfect gift idea for a new home gift or a wedding gift or for someone moving away to college. Very pretty and useful. Each piece came wrapped up in it's own plastic inside a small box. Very nice and lightweight and they work great. I was so excited to use these. Especially the can opener and pizza cutter. They work so good. I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the experience and opinions are my own.
