Can't get refun

There was nothing wrong with the item except for the fact that it didn't work for what we needed. Shipping was good. Product was good. It just doesn't work for us. They offered me a 10% refund I said no then they offered me 30% and then they offered me 50%. I didn't pay them 10% for this item. I didn't pay him 30% for this item or 50%. I paid them 100% for this item I ordered why would I take a lower amount back for a refund the items not even for me it's for my friend who didn't want to order off-line because of things like this, why Wal mart gets with these companies who don't want to refund your money when it says you can get refunds is beyond me
