My husband has COPD and emphysema and these work really well for him. He's tried other store brands but they weren't extended release and didn't work as well as these and he's tried name brand but they're just too expensive because he takes one every morning. They give 12 hour relief so he isn't coughing all day and they're a lot more affordable than name brands but work just as well. The pills are large so if you have a problem swallowing large pills or pills in general, you'll want to break them in half.
