good mulch

I got this for plants like zucchini that like it warm, but not as hot as IRT gets. The zucchini in the mulch are twice the size of the ones with no mulch. It is doing a great job suppressing the weeds. Possibly better than the IRT.

This Mulch holds moisture, keeps weeds away, obviously increases yield. Make sure to use drip tape under it because water does not penetrate.
