This is a beautiful heavy frame. It's wood. It's not perfect at all. It arrived with some of the silver paint chipped off and one of the corners does not meet up with the other corner. There is a noticeable gap between where the mitered corners meet up. So very disappointing. I will have to put that corner on the bottom. If the paint wasn't chipped and that one corner came together, I would buy 3 more of these beautiful frames
