Admittedly, I prefer the Matte formula. But, this color! I have (like many women, I am sure) so much trouble finding ~that~ red. I felt Fire Nude might not read as brightly, but as a darker blue-toned red, which added dimension. It does read beautifully. I've never had a true red I've been so pleased with. I have a fair to light complexion, and a serious blue undertone, so reds that look deep appear too bright on me. It's awful. I had given up looking for one for a couple of years, though I was changing my hair coloring, so I was on the lookout, again. I do find it ironic this is the red I never tried in person.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great design, looks like a lipstick but actually a gloss on an applicator. I chose to use as it was, so no lip liner, and was impressed as no 'running' outside my lip line. The colour was great, a fab red that went great with my pale skin tone. I actually blotted it a little and is still kept majority of the colour with a great sheen to it. It lasted with no issues until lunch time (for me a great achievement) and didn't come off when drinking. Fabulous product and I will certainly look at the other colours available.
