Works as expected. I'm a huge Dyson vacuum fan, and fan of vacuums in general (currently have 6, but the other 5 weren't adequate). Can't beat the huge discount of refurbished. Better price at Walmart (fulfilled by Dyson, so came with warranty) than Amazon. We actually had a problem with the 2nd battery (which I'll bet I'll never need), but was still replaced by Dyson. I kind of wanted the upgrade to the laser dust identifying light, but a friend said it only contributes to one's compulsiveness. It is possible to overclean, apparently! I did augment my purchase with a 2nd party, Amazon-bought, stand for vacuum accessories. It proudly stands as a sculpture and monument to cleaning at the bottom of our stairs! Interestingly, you can't turn off the rotor at the head, but it is definitely quieter than corded Dysons we've had nevertheless. They've definitely engineered the bin dumping much better that helps rid the bin of all it's collected without (necessarily) having to reach in and grab stuff that got stuck.
