Outstanding optical clarity, even at

Outstanding optical clarity, even at the highest magnification level. Also gathers light well at twilight. I highly recommend this spotter to serious big game hunters and long range shooters.

Got rid of a Vortex

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got rid of a Vortex a Razor to get into this Leupold SX-5 Santiam. Way better glass way better in low light much clearer on the edges. Awesome spotting scope. Here are a couple pictures of some Desert Sheep. It was almost 8pm and dark picked them up about 650 yds away. Gets the job done for me.

I Spend a lot of

I Spend a lot of time looking through glass, and I feel like this scope outperforms other scopes in its price range. No, it might not be as good as your super high-priced scopes. However, as a top-quality option that will more than cover your needs, and save you some money in the process, this is a great option.
