The only strong thing about this hairspray is it's scent. It's very strong and lingers. Hold is not strong unfortunately-not for fine hair. I can imagine it getting some hold and bounce to thick hair. Also, it leaves some whitish residue on brown hair. Not for me, wish I returned it when it was still time
