Excellent Book

The book makes the movie, which can be confusing, crystal clear. Ethical and realistic conclusions can be deciphered where the movie leaves you wondering.

book review

Terse, powerful, dark and very atmospheric. Book was originally purchased to fill in blanks after seeing the movie, and it did.

No book for amateurs

This book is reasonably priced. It's a larger paperback with movie tie-in cover that should hold up fairly well The book itself is well written, but definitely no recommended for the casual reader. Mr. McCarthy uses no quotation marks ("") in his book which make it a little harder to distinguish between characters. The book is a tense thriller that falls off at the end. You get the feeling that he could've left off the last 30 pages, but kept them in for some reason or another. Definitely worth the time, but not for the faint of heart.
