My third pair

As a guy that spends his work day in and out of a truck through sloppy parking lots freezing cold loading docks these boots have gotten the job done like no other during my 30+ year career. I have worn these boot to walk mile and miles. I can't think of being without a pair they are my every day go to in cool and cold weather.

Nice boot so far

I don't know why this boot has such bad ratings on this model when the black one above is getting four stars. Perhaps a bad batch of soles? Anyways, great boots so far. I'm a mobile mechanic in the heavy equipment industry. I'm in all kinds of factories and outside in all weather. These boots have held up so far and are very comfortable, light too! They are in fact waterproof as I have even worn them duck hunting in the canoe! My only complaint is that it took a little for the boot to break in, in the heel area. Which is probably my fault as I probably could have went one half size larger. The other concern is that the fact that because the boot is waterproof, it doesn't wick moisture away from your feet as well as I'd like. My feet stay warm but they do get a little sweaty by the end of the day... If the soles stay on I'll be happy, but I've only had them a month. So we shall see.

Concerned

I just got bought a pair of Merlin . By reading the reviews I’m starting to feel like my boots are not going last me a long time. Before I had a pair of timberland steel toe which lasted me close to 2 years .I’m a electrician and I’m always on my feet . So I hope I get my money’s worth . If not I won’t ever buy from this brand again . And will not recommend this product . Not trying to be rude, just being honest ...
