We love these exterior lights. We installed two on our home near the Delaware coast. We bought them because of a "hint" of a nautical vibe, but not looking "kitschy", and the warranty regarding rust and corrosion. The light output is excellent and it while it illuminates a good side area near the front and side of our home, they shine downwards and aren't glaring. One point to note if these are to be installed on siding . . . we had to purchase a secondary mounting block with notches to accommodate the siding because the lights' backplates are substantial in length and crossed over two rows of our siding. This would not be an issue at all when installing on a flat surface such as brick, etc., and once we purchased the mounting plates, the installation and the after-installation is great.
