We have a dark hallway, I got this light to put at the end of the hallway. It works perfectly, when we walk down the hallway the light comes on, after we go in one of the rooms the light goes off. It is attached by putting peel and stick strips to the wall, and the light sticks to the strips with magnets. The light is rechargeable by plugging it into a usb socket. I got the package of 2 thinking I could trade out one for the other when it needs to be charged, which will work perfectly, but they charge quickly, so I decided to put the second one in the kitchen over the sink so that when I get up in the middle of the night, the kitchen will light up when I go in it without having to turn a light on.
