disappointed in design

Disappointed in the handle operation. you can see in the photo the trim that goes on either side of the handle does not rotate with the handle, but because of the handle. in other words, the 2 pieces are not connected so when you turn the handle left or right the trim around the handle follows after the handle hits the trim. it's a good-looking trim piece but the person who designed this made it for pictures only. not for actual use. what a shame, it looked good when I purchased it, now I'm disappointed that the trim diminishes the value of the overall project. Does anyone even test the product before sending it to production?

The lever on this trim kit is separate from the hub so it can be lifted to control the volume of water; the UT2691 Voss M-CORE 2-Series Valve Trim does not have volume control and is equipped with a single piece handle/hub. Previous design was better

Purchased the Moen Voss faucets for our bathroom remodel. We have always trusted Moen's quality but this one missed the mark. In less than 3 months use, the part behind the control arm fell off. I was able to reposition it but it keeps coming loose. I'm puzzled as to why the additional part was added, the previous design worked well. I expected better from Moen especially with the price tag. Now I'm stuck with an expensive faucet that breaks frequently and will most likely have to be replaced soon. Very disappointed. (Unable to load photo)
