Exactly what I was hoping it to be. Shakes rapidly and bounces around a bit on the wood flooring. Starts up w any light shake, drop, or hit from the kids (as hoped). Just opened a few days ago so battery life and durability unknown but seems solid so far. The main "on" mode is for 10 seconds of movement and music. If I was going to improve the product, I might suggest another 20-second mode or something a bit longer because it seems you have to hit/shake it very often but that's ok.
