Pen + Gear Magazine File Holder, Plastic, Black

This thing is fantastic for organizing my appliance manuals, shop manuals, and other things that are just floppy and thin enough not to stand up on their own in a regular bookshelf. I went from a small pile of appliance manuals, pamphlets, manuals, fliers, and magazines to just a few inches on my bookshelf for better organization. Its molded wider at the ends where the spine of the magazine is as that is typically how magazines stack. Very clever little feature they thought of. Its a fairly thin and flimsy plastic but for its intended design it will definitely do just fine in organizing your library of items so they don't end up in a pile somewhere or taking up a bunch of room in your file cabinet.

The Magazine File Holder by Pen + Gear is a wonderful storage solution with many applications. Obviously, from the name, it easily holds magazines and file folders; but it is also useful for loose papers, three and five ring binders, and oddly shaped things you want to store on a shelf such as a glass cleaning kit. Mine came in a formed plastic case. Storing it in a magazine holder creates a smooth look to the shelf and I can always find what I am looking for. I really like the design of the rack. You can angle the rack to see the name of the magazine or put the open side out to view the contents spines. I especially like that it has a fully open front. Some designs have a solid partial front. This one does not! It is totally open allowing for easy removal of the contents. It is also sturdy. Fully loaded, it did not bulge or fall over. It also didn't slide around on my shelf. I was able to stand books next to it and use it like a bookend. I definitely recommend The Magazine File Holder by Pen + Gear as a long lasting, visually appealing, and functional storage option!
