L'Occitane Aqua Réotier Refreshing Eye Gel 0.5 oz

I really like this eye product, but you do need to make sure you use it correctly for best results. I found if I put it in the fridge for a few minutes (to cool it down as they recommended) it actually wasn't as effective. I don't know if it has to do with the temperature of the ingredients, but there was a definite difference between cool application and room temperature application. That said, this product has a 3 month shelf life, so if you're like me and use your eye products religiously you're going to be fine, but just as an FYI make sure to cycle this one frequently. I'm very curious as to which ingredients in this make this so shelf unstable. Honestly, this is the same tube as the lip gloss with a modified applicator, so for the person who said it's a little big- yeah you're right- they repurposed a bottle. I do enjoy the little metal bits as it does feel cooling, but the shape is not necessary "eye", if that makes sense. It was bugging me, but I had also purchased a lip balm and realized it was the same bottle. Gotcha, supply chain manager. :) Not all bottles are created equally. I'd love it if you updated this one! Product itself: it actually has the texture of a cross between lip balm and serum and isn't super cold. The immediate effect I see is brightness and reduction of puffiness. After a long day of meetings I use this and it looks like I just took an amazing nap. It's fantastic.
