Does this look like an $800 ruby necklace? No. However, to your lady's eye, she will think you threw down a bean or two on her ($100-$200). I've worked jewelry since I was 16 (and no we didn't have cell phones back then) and this is a classy piece. The manufacturer took care with the cut and polish as if it were a real item. Most imitations are slapped together. Not this one! That makes this a really nice looking piece that she will feel great wearing. Only a seasoned jewelry buff WITH an eye piece will tell the difference.
