Mcm Men's Onyx EDP 1.0 oz Fragrances 085715151223

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a very distinct woody note to it. Overall it is strong but not over the top strong and actually lasts my entire work day and then some. This is definity one of the better colognes I've come across. I give it a 9.4/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MCM Onyx at first sniff smells like a dupe of Dior Sauvage EDP, but once you spend time with it you realize this fragrance actually strikes a great balance between the modern mass appealing fragrances of today and the complex, stout fougere fragrances of yesterday. As stated earlier, this fragrance smells a lot like Dior Sauvage, but the mid and drydown of MCM onyx shifts more towards something like Narcisio Rodriguez For Him(discontinued,) Dior Fahrenheit, or even Dior Homme 2020. It's almost as if MCM replaced the ambroxan in Sauvage with vetiver, violet, and Iso-E Super (and if you compare notes on fragrantica, it kinda looks that way.) For that reason, this fragrance is kind of the best of all three of those worlds and in a lot of ways I like it more than those other 3.
