I was apprehensive about purchasing furniture online. However, this was a truly positive experience. It's helpful to have a set of Allen wrenches or a ratchet, though not essential. It took us about 1.5 hours to set it up. The sturdiness is commendable, with minimal wobble. My only concern is the smoothness of the slats which allows a new mattress to slide easily. I'm thinking of adding something to the slats to increase friction and hold the mattress better.

Initially, I adored the bed. It's charming, rustic, and sturdy, but if you and your partner are vigorous in bed, this might not be the bed for you. Within a year, we had bars breaking, metal legs bending, and the screws unscrewed from vigorous use. I recommend keeping this in a spare bedroom where it won't be used so intensely.
