Excellent Quality and Price

These stud kits are absolutely necessary for the installation of aftermarket cylinder heads. And, also, to eliminate the possible, probable, damage to later flatheads block threads using bolts. Could not be a more sensible and cost effective solution.

Head stud kit is ok

There is one flaw in the 49 to 53 stud kit in as much as they do not have two longer studs that are required if the vehicle has a power steering pump... you would need two studs that are approximately 3/4"" longer than the long studs provided. I had to use the two head bolts that came on the vehicle to retain the power steering pump bracket to the head... otherwise the stud kit works very well...

They will hold the heads on

I don't see the point in arp studs to hold the heads on a flathead ford without a blower but also don't want to be fighting sealant on head bolts on the many retorques on my 8BA so these were a good choice for me.
