The storage chest is a 2-for-1 in that it's 2 chests you receive: 1 large, and 1 medium-sized chest. The chests have a very retro appearance featuring the 1889 World Fair in Paris, but aren't the most practical in terms of design. They feature the ability to have a lock placed on them, yet both chest can easily have their lock pieces and hinges screwed off with a basic screwdriver. The lock pieces themselves are made of a very thin metal, likely tin, that bends very easily. The lock piece for the large chest arrived damaged, but was thankfully easy to replace. The side handles for the chests are somewhat impractical as they are very thin, and will easily hurt the hand if either chest has any real weighted content inside of it. Finally, the large chest has angled corners which makes it a little cumbersome for storing squared objects like books, video games, or boxed objects. Overall, they look very nice, but the side handles, low quality lock piece, and larger chest having angled corners makes it a tough sell to recommend.
