I love that the sides are like a regular fitted sheet and it fit on my 15-in mattress with a 3-inch bed topper. the top is super soft and since I've slept on it it does not retain body heat. I absolutely love it. read the directions well because it does hold water when you wash it. I would buy it again in a heartbeat
