Cute black picture frame with light. The picture frame is wood which I didn't notice before purchasing but cute. As of now I like the frame and light but that may change. The wood frame with the plastic light doesn't quite have the elegant look I was looking for but for the cost I can deal with it because it still looks really nice. The light doesn't come with batteries so you'll need to purchase AAA (I think-the package has this info in it) for the light. The cute little remote controls the on and off function for the light and the dimmer as the light has a cool and warm option. You can also turn the light off using a side button on the light. The battery piece for the light can be disassembled from the wall without removing the light piece that attaches to the wall so you only have to slide a certain piece down to remove (to get to batteries) or up to re-install (or vice versa - installed a few weeks ago so I can't really remember). This item was very easy to install and you could easily use these pieces separately which is what I'm considering since I had a different frame in mind. The frame is matted to 8x10. The matte is removable. lf you're considering this item, go ahead and purchase. I think you'll like it and if you don't I think you'll still find that you can use it plus it's a great deal.
