Amazing Range

This has got to be the best range I've ever used. The gas burners are incredibly adjustable, on my old range the very lowest I could get, even on the small burners was "boil", on this one, I can get anything from a bare simmer to a full rolling boil. The number of features for both ovens is staggering, we haven't even scratched the surface with them. I love that both ovens come with probes and both have convection settings. It is a very heavy appliance and seems well built. The brass burners are a nice touch. Using the induction side it pretty wild. If you've never used an induction 'burner' you can go from room temp to boiling water in under a minute. It's crazy. Overall the entire range is solidly built with every feature I could think of and then some.

Great range!

This is a great range. Love the induction section, love the two ovens, especially the small one, love the “pizza bake “ setting, love the looks, love everything about this oven. If you can afford this range (it is not cheap), then go ahead and buy one. You will love it.

Wonderful range!

Bottom line is this a fantastic range. But continue reading for some more specifics. My initial desire was for a full induction 48” range but those choices are severely limited. And I am glad to say that this dual fuel turned out to be the best choice. Much of my cookware is carbon steel or cast iron or cast iron enamel. The induction section works perfectly for those pans. But much of the rest of my pans are All Clad aluminum and stainless. Which doesn't work on the induction side. So having the gas burners turned out, unknowingly on my part, to be the perfect solution. The power induction mode boils water so fast you won't believe it. Bubbles on the bottom appear within just a few seconds of turning it on. Then turn it lower and you can precisely simmer. The ovens are great too but I'd really like to see the smooth shelf sliders on the small oven and not just the big oven. Also know that it takes way longer to heat up the small oven as the large oven, which is counterintuitive. I called F&P thinking there was a problem but it is designed that way. The large oven uses all the elements to heat up the oven and the small one uses only one element. So if you're cooking something that requires only one oven, use the big one. The small one takes 21 minutes to preheat to 400F and the large one takes only 7 minutes. Overall a great cook's range and a wonderful upgrade from my old Wolf.
