BOSCH HDS8645U 36" and larger free standing gas range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered the 36" wide version and could not be happier. You can feel the high manufacturing quality of Bosch through and through. The power burner is very strong and can get that water boiling fast which is a very big difference from our previous Samsung range. Plenty of cooking space in the oven as well, specially with the added size for larger trays or pans for that gastronomic feel! We bundled with fridge and dishwasher for a seamless look. The brushed black steel finish cleans really well and leaves no fingerprints. Just love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We invested in an entirely new & expanded kitchen, and the Bosch 800 Industrial Range replaced our old built in dual oven and gas cooktop units. This unit is very attractive, and the description of "Industrial" is accurate due to the styling. We installed our unit in an island, so it truly is "freestanding', and looks fantastic. This range looks comparable in design, size & quality to units that cost substantially more. It is very sturdy and performs well, with substantial burner grates that are sized to make them easy to handle & clean, having nice rubber feet to keep them from scratching the top surface of the stove. The stove-top burners are sealed well to make them a breeze to keep clean as well. The height of the legs and underneath clearance allows for ease of cleaning under the unit, where this style of freestanding range usually makes for a gathering place for debris. The clock & timer functions could be a little more intuitive & user friendly (re-setting the clock & cancelling the timer is a pain), but overall we are very happy we chose this unit. We purchased the 5 year extended coverage based on complaints we have seen, even though we are aware those can be an unfair indicator of issues. Time will tell - so far, we are really happy and believe it was a great choice, at a reasonable price!
