Entertaining for a 6 year old

My son loves this interactive video as much as he loves the cartoons - a lot! Good problem solving games. A bit limited in the variety but overall fun entertainment - helps get rid of monster fears!

Fun but not enough "games"

My 5 yr old loves all things Scooby Doo so I purchased this for him. Although he really likes it a lot, there are only 4 "games" on this, then the "finale" of the roller coaster ride. Fun for a while, but gets quite repetitive. My 3 yr old has figured out how to play this, so he enjoys it, too. Not a bad product, just wish it had more meat.

Okay, but not great.

My son saw this product advertised at the beginning of a video that he received as a gift. He was wildly excited about this DVD game so we later purchased it. It was not very expensive, but I was hesitant to purchase it because an age range was not given. My son is 3 yet this game is a bit advanced for him. He does not quite understand how to manipulate the features. However, the game itself is pretty basic. Once a child is old enough to understand how to play the game and manipulate the DVD remote, it will be fine, but probably won't have a very long life because the game is not that complex and probably won't hold a kid's attention beyond a few months.
