Rough, uneven pages

The book had rough cut, uneven pages. I've never actually seen a book that had pages cut to different widths like this. Book was supposed to be a Christmas Gift, but after seeing the poor quality of the pages, I just let them have the book early and I'll have to find another gift. (It wasn't worth the time and effort to return right now). I would've rated it 1 star, but the cover was unexpectedly high quality and really nice looking. It's a shame the pages weren't the same high quality.
