It took those little feathered dinosaurs about 2 weeks to adapt to hanging upside down, but once they did, wow! I'm getting woodpeckers competing for a spot, and, for a change, the cakes aren't being attacked by all the other hungry birds and squirrels. Which means the cakes are not just lasting longer—but going to the birds who depend on them, not to shady little hoggers. Loving the woodpeckers just hanging upside down now now. The feeder is beautifully designed, a cinch to fill/refill, sturdy, recycled plastic is a big plus to me, and it looks like a professional feeding station instead of those spindly cages. 5 stars plus for this squirrel-proof feeder.
