The Pros and Cons of Kira Home Harlow Glass Shades
Pros! 1. The size…. Especially the larger 9” width which is difficult to find when shopping for replacement shades. 2. The glass is thicker than other replacement shades which is a real plus having had others chip and crack along the rim when dusting or washing. 3. Not certain if there is a clear coating on the glass but have been pleasantly surprised as to the dust resistance of these shades. Cons: 1. At well over $50 each (with tax and shipping) I did not anticipate so many bubble imperfections in the glass which resulted in the 4 star rating rather than 5. That said… the pendant lights in my kitchen are over an island and the hang height makes the bubbles less noticeable and when the lights are turned on their presence seem to vanish..
