My son is 6, and the little tikes b-ball hoop isn't cutting it anymore. So, I started looking at adjustable height hoops. I'm pretty handy and mechanical and can usually look at the photo OR watch a video and BAM...I can get it done. I would think that anyone REASONABLY intelligent could complete the setup of this product. It took me around 30-45min to complete the setup. Once it's up and the base filled with water...it's easy to move on its wheels. That being said, I don't think my 70yr old mom could do it, but a40yr old guy like me...easy to move. It's sturdy, built well and been out in the weather and after a few months is holding up just great.
