On the higest setting, bulb produces brite white lite that is great for reading and crafting. The lower bulb settings are good too. The lowest provides a nice glow that is perfect for relaxing. The medium setting is good for general room lighting. I'm glad I purchased these bulbs. A bad bulb makes a good lamp look bad. These bulbs make a good lamp look fantastic.
