Novogratz Maxwell Twin-Over-Full Metal Bunk Bed with Ladder and Guardrails, Easy Assembly, Navy Blue

Better than I thought! I was hesitant about these bunk beds. I thought maybe they were not going to be sturdy or strong enough since in the picture the bars look thin. The picture on the cover does it no justice! These bunks are strong and sturdy! I really like the finish product. I was dreading assembling them but it actually turned out to be fun because it became a family project. My kids helped with the parts since they are alphabetically labeled. My husband did the assembling while I gave the instructions. It takes three set of hands to assemble and finish the whole thing. My favorite thing about these bunks is that the stairs are on the front and not on the side. I feel that it is safer for the kids to climb up this way since I grew up having a bunk bed with the straight up stairs on the side. I just have one tip to give the manufacturer, I recommend that the instructions be changed to where the top bunk bed be completely assembled before the bottom bed. Only because it's a bit of a hassle to squeeze our hands in between the bars to clip on the hooks(Z). Other than that, the frame is really strong and sturdy. I love it and most importantly my kids(7 & 6 y.o) love it! It was a great transition to get my kids to stay in their beds and not come to mine. It's a win win!
