Love it!

I got this for my special needs son who I am trying to move into a toddler bed because he is too big and heavy for his crib now and I needed a new mattress for him because the one he's had since he was born is just worn out so I chose this one for a couple of reasons. I like that it is 2 sided and is firmer for infants on one side and somewhat softer on the other for toddlers. I like being able to choose one or the other depending on his needs. Since he has medical equipment he uses at night I may have to end up using the firmer side eventually but for now I've started him on the softer side and I'm just thrilled to have a choice! Immediately upon opening the box I noticed that it doesn't have that slick plasticy cover the way so many infant/toddler mattresses do, regardless of price. No, it's got a comfortable, soft, cottony fiber wrap instead and it feels soooo much better because of it and yet it's still water resistant as a toddler mattress absolutely needs to be! Amazing! I know that is going to be so much more comfortable for him already and also I truly love how it doesn't have that loud plastic covering that makes so much noise when they move at all. It's a great little mattress for him to use on his toddler bed we are trying to get him used to. New bed, new mattress. So far so good. I'm happy to have it and feel it's very well made and the design is meant for all the needs of a toddler. Definitely recommend! 5/5 stars!

Can always trust Sealy for crib mattresses!

I appreciate that Sealy provides Greenguard certified crib mattresses as well as truly firm mattresses for infants and toddlers. This gives such peace of mind for the safety of our children! The safety tag is wonderful, even reminding to check on the tightness of the fitted sheet and much more. This is such a great addition because there are so many safety concerns that arise each year parents don't know about because things are constantly changing. This mattress really is nice and firm and doesn't lose firmness easily. The cover is nice and smooth, partially satin-y and actually a bit moisture wicking. Not waterproof by any means so you definitely need a mattress protector but if it fails it seems to at least have some partial protection built-in. It arrived in its own plastic bag within the box so it was very clean and ready to go! No strange smells like some in the past. A regular crib sheet fits it perfectly with a mattress protector underneath as well. My toddler loves it immediately!

Perfectly size and comfortable

I've tried about 3-4 different mattresses for my daughter's crib but none of them fit as well as this one. It fits very well and doesn't leave any gaps around the crib. She's a toddler now and the two stage option is very useful at this point. The mattress is nice and comfortably firm and it has a good cloth covering on it which prevents it from getting wet or soiled which is much expected with babies ans toddlers. The only thing is its a little tough to stretch a fitted crib sheet onto it but fortunately I'm able to do that with trying a little.
