Perfect opaque light neutral
Among my dozens and dozens of Essie shades, the light colors/pastels are consistently the weakest links because they're too translucent and thin (Essie's white, “Blanc,” is about as effective as dipping your nails in coconut milk). But this shade is a beautifully opaque nude pastel. In the bottle it looks like “Between the Seats,” but that is a pale shade with a cooler, grayish undertone, while this one is warmer and more flattering, bordering on a pale pink. I'm obsessed. Well done Essie! Definitely my new go-to color this summer.
