Simpli Home Rex 2 Seater Sofa and Left Chaise

This was my first purchase of a SimpliHome product. I have been intrigued by their offerings for some time and finally felt comfortable buying a couch from them. The couch was delivered in three boxes to my doorstep 20 days after I purchased it. As with any furniture product, they can be big and a little hard to maneuver, but the boxes were in good shape and I was quickly able to slide them together to create one cohesive couch. The quality of the couch was actually better than I was expecting. The packaging was simplistic and didn't contain much waste beyond cardboard. The body of the couch is solid. I could put my entire weight on the sides and back without ever feeling like it was going to break. If I were to say anything down the road might break it is not going to be the wood frame, but rather the fabric cover where it connects with the frame. The cushions are what I would call firm. I've been on softer couches before, but this couch supported my posture and would be great for sleeping or lounging. The seat area was also a plus for us, as we have little kids who like to climb. The deep seating area allowed us some peace of mind, know that they wouldn't fall off as easily. It is also rather low to the ground which helps with falling. The back of the couch goes about half way up my back. The back is much lower than our former couch and you can't expect to have a tall person lean all the way back to relax on it, but we were fine with it as it went with our overall home design. I would say the couch in general offers a modern design including a shorter back and soft 90 degree angles. The fact that it was made with recycled polyester was another plus. Overall, we are pleased with the couch and will be looking to SimpliHome for other furniture needs in the future.
