This is not a ring that I would recommend someone to purchase as a VERY SPECIAL gift for the wife or girlfriend, but it is a nice ring. I read online that people were saying that their fingers turned green and it wasn't real Sterling. I've been wearing this one to make sure that's not true before I give it as a gift I know that might sound a little tacky, but I wouldn't be so embarrassed to give this as a gift and someone's finger turned green. I do not believe that's the case. I've been wearing it for a week now and I've had no problem. I do wash my hands a lot so I don't know if that has anything to do with it but the rain still looks nice I purchased it as a gift for a girl ( 13 ) in the neighborhood that is very giving of herself and a good student. I just wanted her to have something to remember me by nothing extravagant. I can't afford that ha ha.
