I wouldn't say it's luxurious looking, but it's not cheap looking either. I'm happy with the appearance, and it's nice to touch. I bought white, it doesn't shed, and size is big, actually looks great on my new couch. It's true that the zipper is a fake zipper, and you can't wash the cover (Spot clean only) but hey, it's so cheap I'm willing to buy new one. I'll definitely repurchase, especially when it's on sale ;)
