Another Hidden Charge?!

The Code Black (Season 2) dvd will not play on the user's computer without the installation of the current version of the Power Media Player that is offered for pay on the dvd. If the current version offered on the dvd is already installed on the user's computer, I guess the disk will automatically play without the prerequisite set-up. It was considerate (?) of the manufacturer to provide access to this information after (instead of before) I already purchased the dvd, removed the sealed packaging and attempted to simply play the disk on my computer just like all the dvds I have previously purchased, with no required additional set-up and its charge.
