This textbook covers the various theories of commercial company and economic interest group law, and the common and specific rules applicable to them. We thought it would be useful to include a section on the criminal liability of legal entities.This subject, which is increasingly recognized in other jurisdictions, is undergoing a slow evolution or, better still, a slow consecration in Congolese law. Drawing on the provisions of Ohada law, to which the Democratic Republic of Congo is a signatory, we have highlighted the question of the criminal liability of commercial companies, and by ricochet of other legal entities under private law.
