This was my first time using a clarifying shampoo. I didn't know what to expect. I only had to wash my hair once because my scalp and hair felt so clean after one wash. I had just taken braids out and had buildup and only having to wash one time was surprising. It smells great and lathers really fast. You only need to use a little, and that little goes a long way.

The one thing that I've noticed in the 4 times that I've used it prior to writing this review is that whatever moisture the shampoo seemingly "robs" my hair of the conditioner gives back with interest.
