Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (DVD)

This is not a movie for kids or those easily offended. Seriously, if you have strict morals and beliefs and don't want something straying from the conservative side of life, don't get this. If, however, you would like to watch a mockumentary that is surprising, crude, funny, and are not near others wondering, "I hope they're not offended," then watch this! It gets funnier every time I watch it now that I know the stories while filming and all. Most of the people in the movie really believed they were there for a serious documentary...lol! You will either hate it and think it's filth, or love it because it goes where most movies stop short. Personally, I love it! There's enough seriousness in life as it is, and it's nice to sit back and be able to just let loose. I don't agree with everything in the movie, but again, it's a MOVIE. I don't suggest gifting this item unless you know the person well enough that they won't disown you if they opt to be offended.

Is this movie strange? yes Is this movie crude? Very Is it stupid? Yes! Is it funny? no..it is hilarious! The first time I watched it, I thought it was funny enough. After I did some research on what I saw in the movie and found out the background on all the situations, I could barely watch it for laughing so much. I have given away 2 Borat DVD's and recieved many thanks after they watched it.
