Very impressive sturdy piece. The sides are on the thin side, but preferred as it's space-saving which is important for smaller rooms. The overall design seems to create more usuable space for the bed itself as there are options to sit on it like a couch and still sleep on it as a bed.

Love it! But...

Love the daybed! Very sturdy. Great instructions and even extra hardware. Definitely helps to have 2 people to assemble it though - a third person would come in handy for a couple steps. Plenty of room for me and two dogs (who seem to think it belongs to them, lol). Only negative was the box arrived wet - on the INSIDE. Rained on day of delivery. The box was apparently set in a puddle of water at some point or exposed to rain for a significant period of time. Over a cup of water drained out of the box after we opened it. One of the upholstered end panels was totally saturated on one corner, which was a concern with the MDF construction. Put a fan on it for about 24 hours to dry it out. The fabric is water stained but isn't that noticeable. More concerned with potential issues with the MDF after being soaked - time will tell. Would definitely buy again but would pick up at store to avoid the water damage issue.
