True to size. Purchased an adult small for my 12 year old son, and an adult medium for my 14 year old son. I know my 14 year old is 130 lbs and 5'11—I honestly don't know my 12 year old's height or weight (he's shorter and probably 30-35 lbs lighter…) The inside is lined with a dri-fit/athletic material which was a surprise! Perfect for soccer or outdoor sports when the temperature drops at night. These definitely don't need to be sized up. We bought a L for my 14 year old and I gave them to my husband. Usually I return stuff but I liked them so much I knew he would find them useful.

Thin and not too warm, just what I was looking for. I have a 38" inseam, and these look just fine, if you're into the bunched-a-bit look, whihc also means when I sit down my ankles stay covered. I do wish the waist string was on the inside, but I knew where it was when I bought them.
