I can't take credit for the assembly because it was a gift and her parents put it together. However, they did say that it didn't take long to assemble. I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughters birthday. She got a kitchen when she just turned 2 and she loved it. It was perfect for her size but now at 3 she was towering over it so I decided to replace it with this one. What I appreciate about this one is that the sounds for the stove only play for a short time and then turn off. The last one she had drove everyone crazy because it would literally run all day or until the battery died if you didn't turn it off and the sound was robotic. It didn't even sound like a stove. This one also has an icemaker in the fridge door that drops cubes into a cup. So cute. The hood has a button for the light and buttons for the sound of the fans. The knobs on the stove and the microwave make clicking sounds as well. The overall appearance of the kitchen is beautiful and modern. I purchased the black set and it is really nice looking with the white marble backslash and the gold accents. It comes with super cute accessories like stainless steel pots and pans with lids plus cooking utensils. It's very sturdy and well made. It looks like it will last for a few years. Overall she loves it so of course I love it!
