This product works as advertised. No assembly required. Even at 74 years of age it was a snap once I got the 50 pound contraption up to my second floor office. Some improvements I'd like to see? 1) clamps to lock the base frame to my existing desk, the unit tends to slide forward when being raised: 2) attachment points to keep wires and cables out of the folding and raising mechanism when lowering. I didn't want to go wireless with my keyboard and Mouse. As an aside, one of my Sons has the same model at work and he told me the Monitor is too high in the down position and too low in the full up position. It would seem that modern desks are designed with a table top height to position the monitor correctly for best viewing. In my case I did have to add a cushion to my chair seat, but my monitor is sitting on a Command Center that needs to be in easy reach.
