Warranty information
"GP Percussion Limited Warranty & Terms:
Drums, Percussion Instruments and Hardware Original Purchaser Limited Warranty:
GP Percussion Drums, including attached hardware (""Drum""), Other GP Percussion Instruments and Accessories and
GP Percussion separate accessory hardware which may be purchased with a Drum or as separate items (""Accessory Hardware"") are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner, subject to the following terms and conditions:
Warranty Time Period:
The Warranty provided herein is for the following periods, measured in each case from the date of the original retail purchase:
(A) Five (5) years for the Drum shell itself,
(B) One (1) year for Drum hardware including Accessory Hardware (Stands, Drummer’s Thrones, etc) and Drum shell finishes,
(C) One (1) year for other Percussion Instruments (Bongo Drums, Tambourines, etc) and Percussion Accessories,
(D) Thirty (30) days for cymbals and bass Drum wood hoops.
Warranty Coverage:
This Warranty is given by M&M Merchandisers, Inc. 1923 Bomar Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76103, by their GP Percussion Service Divisions (""GP Percussion"") only to the original purchaser of a Drum, Accessories or Accessory Hardware. GP Percussion will repair or replace the Drum shell itself if it proves defective under normal use and service during the five (5) year warranty Time Period stated above which GP Percussion's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective. GP Percussion will repair or replace any part or parts of the attached Drum hardware and/or Accessory Hardware and Drum shell finishes which may prove defective under normal use and service during the one (1) year Warranty Time Period stated above which GP Percussion's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective. GP Percussion will repair or replace any cymbals or bass Drum wood hoops which may prove defective under normal use and service during the thirty (30) day warranty time period which
GP Percussion's examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to be thus defective.
Your Responsibility: You must maintain the Drum and/or Accessory Hardware, without alteration, negligent use, misuse or abuse. All service of this Drum and/or Accessory Hardware must be performed by GP Percussion. If any service is performed by any company or person other than GP Percussion, it will terminate this Warranty.
This Warranty Does Not Cover: (A) damage or defects due to alteration, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, or extremes of temperature or humidity: (B) accidental or intentional damage; (C) damage in shipping; (D) the repair or replacement of expendable maintenance items including but not limited to, heads, drumsticks, beaters, springs or straps; (E) plating on metal parts; (F) any damage from accessories (straps, etc.); (G) finishes on bass Drum wood hoops; (H) a serial numbered Drum or item of Accessory Hardware whose serial number has been defaced; or (I) sound characteristics (sound is a subjective matter and is not warranted).
