Newer Updated Laptop

Bought this as an early birthday present to myself. Even though I prefer Windows 7, the Windows 10 on this laptop is not as bad as I thought it would be. Has a great learning section supplied within the computer. Also has a talking Cortana which has been very helpful in the search section.

Excellent budget machine

If you are looking for something that is cheap but can handle almost any normal day to day task, this is a great computer. Would be great for a family laptop to use for homework, research, and just daily web browsing like facebook, youtube, and even Netflix.

exchanging for another

I ordered the Pretty Plum Purple. such a pretty laptop. i needed something for online classes, because i work nights and this would have had a perfect laptop. but i thought i did everything right until i wanted to go into PC mode and couldn't get there because windows needed to be updated did that for about 6hrs and still nothing. so i am going to return it and try another one. but the shipping was really fast and i would love this laptop. but will see on the next i will leave a review for that as well. but i would recommend before downloading and adding stuff to your laptop. go to updates and start from after original set up.

It sounds like there may have been an error during the updating process of Windows 10. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the SD card slot on the device. You will need a pen to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.
