HEXBUG BattleBots Rivals 6.0 Rusty and Hypershock, Remote Control Robot

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson's birthday. He had been hooked on watching the Battlebot competitions on YouTube and attended a contest with his dad near their home. He was so excited to get this gift! He played with this almost constantly while I was visiting. What was apparent early on was that one Battlebot had parts that came off relatively easily while the other one had parts that were very hard to dislodge. So it wasn't really a "contest" so much as it was a forgone conclusion. Still both he and his sister enjoyed playing with them. I am planning to get him one or two other battlebots for Christmas. The batteries seemed to be pretty good, though his constant playing did result in them needing to be recharged pretty often. Overall, it seemed like an appropriate gift for a youngster who loves watching Battlebot competitions online.
