I had my doubts, but this is amazing for coloring cake batter. It doesn't take nearly as much as the liquid colors, so the consistency of the batter stays the same. Works great for pancakes as well.

i used the purple to add to my water filled very large candy dish...then filled with floating candles...it is GORGEOUS for easter, bit ill keep all year round...i added just a few drops to one-half gallon of water and got a lovely royal purple!!!try it!!!
